Midhurst Rother College student's internet safety success

A student from Midhurst Rother College has overcome fierce competition from across the county winning a competition to promote online safety, with a second team from the college coming fourth.

Jamie Bell, in Year 7, entered a two minute film which highlighted the impact cyber-bullying can have on individuals and focussed on the importance of seeking help and support if students find themselves the target of similar abuse.

The increase of cyber-bullying over recent years reflects the use of social media amongst teenagers and is an area that Midhurst Rother College has been concerned about for a number of years.
