MEMBERS of the South Pond group held a lively meeting at the Grange Centre to discuss the next stage of their fascinating project, and encourage others to join them.
Volunteers are working hard to restore the Midhurst pond, and some 30 people were out in force to get involved with the ambitious scheme.
Pictures of some of the plants which will be put into the shallow areas were shown by Bruce Middleton as part of his interesting talk about the future environmental work and activities that are planned for volunteers of the South Pond Group.
This followed a talk from Graham Ault on the history and workings of the group.
Graham went on to explain what work had been carried out in and around the pond so far and what some of the hopes were for the future.
At the end there was great interest in environmental activities and several people offered up their time to help with the website, noticeboard, habitat monitoring, water quality monitoring and the regular care of the pond and Jubilee Path.
