Midhurst Society helps give training at Weald and Downland Museum

THE Midhurst Society has donated money to the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum so people can enjoy half-price training courses.

The society has granted funds to provide a number of half-price places on conservation training courses in the museum’s 2015 programme.

Applicants must live or work in the Midhurst area.

Bursaries will be offered to those applicants who are keen to begin or progress their career in the building conservation industry, and whose financial circumstances would prevent attendance on the course without the bursary.

There is no closing date and funds will be allocated according to the criteria until the total grant is spent.
