MP impressed by RAFA atclub's open day

A successful open day was held by the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) Club in Bognor Regis.

Among the stream of visitors to the event in the Waterloo Square premises was the town's MP, Nick Gibb. He was impressed with the facilities there and the welfare work carried out by the association.

All the aspects of the work and entertainment available through the group and its Bognor club were on view during the special occasion. Representatives from the Air Training Corps and Tangmere Aviation Museum were also present.

Many visitors were attracted to the book and plant stalls, which raised funds for the RAFA Wings Appeal. Staff and volunteers were busy all day serving free coffee and biscuits. Anyone interested in finding out more about RAFA should go to its premises and speak to the steward. Membership is open to all.
