Musical treat for Rife Social Club members

The October meeting of The Rife Social Club started with the AGM, but once the business part of the evening was concluded members were treated to entertainment provided by The Southdowners.

Their programme consisted of familiar songs and amusing stories and poems.

This part of the evening ended all too soon, but the rapturous applause should ensure a return visit in the not too far distant future.

The next meeting will be on November 9, when the speaker will be Peter Hignett and his subject Experiences on Tall Ships.

The meeting will start at 7.30pm in Felpham Village Memorial Hall in Vicarage Lane, Felpham.
