It wants permission to build on land next to Midhurst Rother College playing fields, which is currently occupied by tennis courts and abandoned buildings which were home to the WI, youth club and Midhurst Nursery Class.

Metis Homes has not yet made a formal planning application to the South Downs National Park Authority. But if development goes ahead it will be the last piece in the housing jigsaw in Lamberts Lane where new homes are being completed at the other end of the lane opposite Midhurst Rother College.
