New life hatches at villlage school
RECEPTION class children at Beckley Primary School have been busy incubating hen’s eggs as part of their their learning journey on spring and growing.
School head Angie Ford said: “There was great excitement as the chicks began hatching out and the whole school kept an eye on the proceedings . There were 13 chicks which were transfered to a brooder . It was tense waiting for the chicks to arrive but very exciting when they did!”
