One of the last Memorial Hall meetings takes place tonight (July 19) when Gillian Cane will speak on the lives of the six remarkable Milford sisters who were not only celebrated but sometimes scandalous figures.
She will also outline their ties with West Sussex.
Both members and non-members are welcome to the Memorial Hall, Rother College, North Street for the lecture which will be starting at 7pm.
Admission charge is £2 for members, £4 for non- members and £1 for students (over 12).
