A New view is emerging from Lamberts Lane across to the South Downs National Park headquarters and Capron House as the old Midhurst Grammar School buildings are demolished to make way for new homes.

The demolition firm expects to be on the site for another week removing the old school buildings.

Then Oakford Homes begins its long awaited new development of 17 new homes on the site.

The plans have been in the pipeline for more than three years as developers have negotiated the number of homes acceptable with officers at the South Downs National Park.

Oakford Homes hope the first houses will be complete by the summer.
