Garage Sale: If bric-a-brac (or just a bargain) appeals, then this year’s extensive Garage Sale in aid of Chitiwiri is just for you! This will run from 9.30am to 4pm also on Saturday, conveniently next to the Playing Fields, at Forge House. All the money raised will go to a project at Chitiwiri school, and Sally and Richard will be pleased to tell you all about the wonderful projects which have transformed lives.
Open Studios: This is the final weekend for Open Studios, featuring 315 artists across Kent, Sussex and Surrey, many within a short drive, so look out for the paint tube signs along the road. For more information visit www.seos-art.org.

Hide AdRabbits: Sunday is Show Day for the Rabbit & Cavy Club. A dangerous place to visit, as they are all so gorgeous!
Coffee Stop: Call into the Church Centre on Wednesday mornings for coffee and a chat at Coffee Stop, between 10 and 12 noon. Lace Group meets in the Jenkins Room at 2pm.
Referendum: In case you have failed to notice, Thursday is the day to vote in the Referendum over Europe. After all the chat, it’s suddenly upon us. The Polling Station in the Village Hall is open from 7am until 10pm.
Horticultural Society: The Horticultural Society’s Summer Event is in the Village Hall next Friday (24th) from 7pm. There are only four classes, which makes it a lot easier, so do see if you can have a go – a floral ring, miniature exhibit not to exceed 4” x 4” x 4”, the cycle of the rose, a container of one variety of annuals and a photograph of foliage. With wine, nibbles and quizzes to do, it’s a great evening for anyone interested in gardening.
