Olympic fun at Playden School
PLAYDEN Primary School had good weather for its Olympic themed Summer Fair on Saturday.
A spokesperson from the school said: “It was a great event, organised by Playden School Association, and very well attended.”
Children took part in an exciting opening ceremony before encouraging visitors to participate in everything from an assault course, archery, mini-golf, ten pin bowling and basketball.
There was a barbecue, stalls and refreshments.
Arena events included karate and dancing and the event closed with a Balloon Race.
Local police community support officer Dan Bevan was also on hand to security mark cycles.
