A whistlestop tour of winning products

This column showcases the finest organic and natural personal care for all the family, because I believe that it need not cost a fortune to go natural.

I highlight the best of the exciting ethical products to help you to choose whether you need a luxury label or a modest DIY home blend.

Here is my whistlestop tour of the column winners so far, with apologies to those I could not fit in.

Aubrey Organics are a founder brand from across the pond, established since 1967. I fell hard for the Rosa Mosqueta skin and haircare range. Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Conditioner is £16.99 for 325ml and it impressed me beyond any other natural hair product I have ever tried, I now have vibrant, touchably soft hair with increased shine. There is a new Aubrey range for thinning locks that has just come to market.

Balm Balm are an affordable ethical brand that deliver price and packaging perfection. Their Rose Geranium Face balm was my first handbag hero - still only £6.99 for a long-lasting tube with incredible performance. Unbeatable. They have a new range of hydrolats now too.

Coconut Oil is one of my pure staples, from Naissance, who sell Soil Association Certified Organic pots either refined or unrefined. I get my Argan Oil here too.

Illamasqua need little introduction: wonderful colour cosmetics with real vibrancy. I love the powerful red lippy called Box, after Alex Box, the creative director whose cult vision is breathtaking. And I cannot say enough good things about their fabulous brushes.

Smiths of Jersey have a lovely spa range, inspired by the sea.

L'Occitane Almond Milk is a summer body care hero with lingering fragrance and retro packaging.

Neal's Yard Remedies are a perennial favourite, their versatile Wild Rose Beauty Balm is an anti-ageing miracle. Their premium day cream Frankincense Intense includes plant stem cell actives.

Organic Botanics are Brighton's finest skin saviours, selling divine creams and facial oils, plus my number one cleanser.

Raw Gaia are another Brighton brand, with a potent range of skin saviours, including the renowned MSM Beauty Cream.

Tisserand sell a wide range of aromatherapy products, with an emphasis on wild crafted collections.

Ylang Ylang wraps this up, simply because i always wear this as a perfume, its completely uplifting.
