Malling House became HQ for Sussex Police in 1968 and remains a busy hub of police activity, including the offices of the Chief Constable.

Mrs Bourne introduces temporary Chief Constable Giles York, following the retirement of former Chief Constable Martin Richards from the Force earlier this month.

Don’t forget, there’s still time to apply for the Commissioner’s Safer in Sussex Community Fund. Awards of up to £5,000 will be granted for projects that meet the funding criteria and address the priorities in the PCC’s Police & Crime Plan. The first deadline for applications is 31st March 2014.
