Get real, strikers!
THE PUBLIC sector's strikers need to join the real world. The country is broke; not quite bankrupt, but just avoiding it. Not the fault of the current Government, but definitely the previous one.
What has been offered is reasonable in the circumstances. There is a lot of talk of working more. Paying more. Receiving less. It’s not only public sector workers who will have to work longer; the whole of the working population will not retire until 67... and most of Europe as well.
