Let's stop moaning and deal with it!

LIKE many others, we used to park in the multi-stories when prices were comparable to the on-street meters and were actually hard to find then.

Until the day that we got stung for 2.90 some time ago. Since then, we always park for free.

There are many roads just a five- minute walk from the town centre where you can park from 11am to 2pm and from 3pm onwards every day and all-day on Sundays.

A 10-minute walk away and even these restrictions don't apply.

We plan visits and any appointments accordingly.

We know who sells what so that saves time.

So, come on, people of Worthing, stop the moaning and deal with it.

Don't desert the town, support local businesses and not the parking coffers.

The money we save on parking now goes to one of the many coffee shops, which makes any visit a more relaxing one.

Does anyone know if the council has actually approached NCP management to review their pricing structure to encourage users back and if so what the response was?
