Charity Tuesdays for hospice

Party performer Tomfoolery (aka Tom Hunter, from West Sussex) has announced that if anyone books him for a party on a Tuesday, he will give £120 to Chestnut Tree House.

Chestnut Tree House provides specialist palliative care services to 300 children and young people aged 0 - 19 with life-shortening and life-threatening illnesses in East Sussex, West Sussex and South East Hampshire.

Tom, whose connection to the charity began when he worked on the Great Sussex Bath Race, said: “Chestnut Tree House does amazing things for some really poorly children, as well as helping the families. I wanted to help them help more people.

“Have your child’s next birthday party on a Tuesday and I’ll do something different too, by donating my booking fee to the charity. Charity Tuesday allows anyone to have a one or two hour Tomfoolery party at a reduced rate, saving you money and giving much needed funds to an incredibly worthwhile charity, Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice for Sussex.

“So go on, why not have an after school party, or club together and have a joint party, just have a party for the sake of having a party! I’m not worried about what party I do, just as long as I do a party each and every Tuesday.”

Tom’s aim is to fill every Tuesday with a Charity Tuesday booking and raise as much money as possible over the year.
