When is WSCC going to stop? Now new proposed parking regulations. What an easy way to get yet more revenue for our authority via the back door, plus increase of your rates each year.

Which fund will this revenue go to? Do we the general public have an opinion? I think our cash strapped schools in the area should have the money? No perhaps the next pay out by WSCC to pay off yet another of their blunders.

I am a resident of Donnington which will be the new zone A proposed parking regulations, more money for WSCC. We have no school in our area, the nearest is Kingsham School which will now be a zone G. There will be parking restrictions in that area between 9am-5pm. (not always possible to get out of school by 9am, afternoon collection. No allowances made).

No parking allowances made to deliver/collect children to school. No car parks nearby. Yet more fines for parking offences ready to be committed by parents/carers.

Our parking permits for Donnington we believe will not be valid in zone G.

Do you have to purchase a visitor’s permit in order to get your child in and out of school without getting parking fines. A visitor’s parking permit is between £100-£200. More revenue for WSCC.

Most parents are working and drop their children at school on the way to work. Of course on the other hand children can go to school breakfast club/after school club. Just think of the additional costs of these facilities to the parents.
