Good news about car parking control
I WAS pleased to read in last Sunday’s Telegraph, that the Coalition will shortly be announcing plans to give town councils powers to run their own car parks.
I have been waiting for this splendid news for years, and would now like to submit my name for consideration as a car park attendant.
One slight snag – I’ll probably be over 100 years old before Rother is prepared to relinquish control.
