Reader letter: 'Chichester deserves better than this'

Having just returned from a trip to the USA, where litter is a rare sight and roundabouts and roadside verges are cut and well presented, I am disappointed to see that the gateway roundabouts into Chichester are a complete mess.

In fact, the entire area around the Stockbridge roundabout is a wasteland with litter, rubbish and broken bricks.

Does the council ever cut the grass or deal with weeds? Chichester deserves better than this.
