RSA prepare pupils for the future

At The Forest School – Boys learn best not only because of the excellent level of our teaching staff but also because we engage fully with our community and commercial partners in and around the Horsham District.

On Tuesday 21st April a team from RSA headed up by Smita Warren, Deputy Actuarial Manager, came into school to help the pupils build a toolbox for their future working lives.

There were four sessions where smaller groups of boys in rotation learned about: RSA jobs, interviews / CV’s / application forms, personal branding and time management.

Being given the opportunity to see where their day to day learning is relevant and how it mixes with the real word outside of school is quite enlightening for the pupils.

The boys have now learned a set of skills which they can take with them into their future, all of which we hope will make the job market a little less daunting.

Thank you to RSA, Smita and her team.
