Talented bakery colleague Hayley Read-Jones from the Horsham store, designed and created a stunning harvest bread sheaf complete with little mouse for the school to present at their harvest communion held at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday, October 14.

Sainsbury’s also donated a box of goodies which will be distributed between the Salvation Army and Crawley Open House.

St Mary’s head teacher, Mrs Shelley Dutson, said: “We were thrilled that Sainsbury’s suggested they create something for us and the children were amazed by the detail.”

Sainsbury’s Horsham store manager Derek Boarer, said: “We are very proud of our bakery team and it’s been fantastic to show off their talents in this way.”
