Seafront wardencould be answer

TO SAY the seafront at Bexhill is no place for a cycle path is a strange statement to make. There are cycle paths on both Hastings and Eastbourne promenades.

Should we ban dogs from our seafront? Of course not! Why should responsible dog owners be punished for the few less considerate owners who allow their pooches to foul the pavements.

Our beautiful prom is for the use of us all. If only we could afford a ‘seafront warden’ to enforce the rules, but alas this will never happen. Let common sense prevail.

Our roads are becoming more and more dangerous. If by having a seafront cycle path just one accident can be prevented, then it would have my 100 per cent backing. After all, our prom is the only break in the chain between Hastings and Eastbourne.....It makes sense.

I must just add the flower beds this year have been amazing: tulips, pansies, hyacinths, wallflowers, a real riot of colour. Thanks to all those talented gardeners.
