Stay loyal to local-run store in Pevensey Bay

I write concerning the recent application to place a Co-op shop sited in the Bay Hotel in Pevensey Bay.

Apart from the obvious traffic hazard having cars in and out on a busy junction I’m addressing the loyalty factor. Mr Neesarajah Suresh and his staff of the 1066 Store before and throughout the pandemic have provided an essential service to the village and beyond.

The 1066 Store took on the Post Office service when closure threatened and have become a vital part of daily life here. Surely loyalty counts for something still?

Let the planners reject the application and allow 1066 stores to continue its service to the community.
