Tunnel could resolve A27 problems

I SEE the subject of the Arundel bypass has again been raised.

I would always object to yet another bridge (making three in the area), on the grounds of the visual impact on this lovely area.

As a solution, has the possibility of a tunnel been considered? Tunnels under rivers exist in many places and certainly, on the east side of Crossbush, there is ample room for a gradual down gradient, although I don't know about the other side, to the west.
