Yellow lines plea

Over the past few months I have been dismayed by the amount of inconsiderate and outright dangerous parking in Station Road, Angmering, just before the level crossing, and have been working with the county highways for the installation of double yellow lines.

Following a number of residents contacting me and the appeal by David Brixey, head teacher of The Angmering School, I am pleased that the yellow line proposals have been ‘bumped up’ the queue and are now out for public consultation.

I now urge residents and local businesses to write in to the county council in support of the double yellow lines, quoting reference JEA1401MM, so as to expedite their installation and subsequent enforcement by Arun District Council.
