SAVE OUR HOSPITALS: Add this doctor to the list
THE government's idea of closing 29 accident and emergency units is not only an act of utter stupidity, it is a threat to saving human lives.
West Sussex is large and well populated. Worthing/Southlands hospitals and Chichester Hospital vitally need their A&E units to remain open.
Their local population deserve 21st Century health care.
On a recent ITV local news programme, I was utterly offended by the puerile and nonsensical utterances of a certain doctor from the PCT, who struggled to authenticate the necessity of closing either Worthing or Chichester casualty departments.
