Surely rail services are well used

Surely Southern Trains would not have run these services if not well used?

They are always harping on about using public transport but how can we when they make travelling worse by taking away these services?

As a frequent user of the Saturday only Brighton/Paington and return service from Paington, can somebody tell me if this is still going to run as this train starts originally from Basingstoke and leaves Brighton at 9.57am arriving Worthing 10.14and and Paington at 15.24.

The return service on a Saturday leaves Devon at the same time, a convenient time for travel.
