Owner accused of dog worrying livestock

A DOG owner who is accused of letting his pet harass livestock saw his case adjourned this week.

Charles Napper, 52 of Watermill Lane in Catsfield, was due to appear at Hastings Magistrates Court on Monday charged with two counts of dog worrying livestock.

However, Napper did not turn up after his solicitor wrote to the court asking for more time to take advice from a local vet.

Magistrates agreed to a two week adjournment and sent instructions to Napper that he appear at the court on Tuesday August 26 ready to enter a plea.
