RESIDENTS of June Lane in Midhurst claim the introduction of car parking charges in the town has resulted in a major parking problem outside their homes.
They are now calling for an extension of the double yellow lines which currently stop just short of their properties, to prevent their drives being blocked.
Speaking on behalf of her neighbours Ros Drummond has asked Midhurst town councillors to support their case to West County Council.
“Parking in front of our properties has become a major problem and is extremely dangerous,” she said, “This request is being pro-active rather than waiting for something detrimental to happen.”
