The RSPCA Sussex Chichester & District Branch’s £3.42million refurbishment project of Mount Noddy Animal Centre is set to need 1,000 bricks to build its foundations and members of the public can now buy a brick to support the charity and become part of its next chapter.

Susan Botherway, animal centre manager at Mount Noddy, said: “In the last two years the branch has helped over 600 animals in what can only be described as challenging conditions.

“By supporting the redevelopment and buying a brick you are enabling us to build a brighter future for those abused and neglected animals that need our help.

“It costs the branch £500,000 a year to fund Mount Noddy Animal Centre, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who donates and supports this important campaign.”

Work on The Big Build at Eartham started at the beginning of the year and is due to finish in early 2022.

The current shelter is more than 50 years old and investment in the new kennels and cattery will enable the branch to help hundreds more animals by giving them the best care possible.
