The great-grandmother and great-great-aunt marked her special day at home at Pegasus Court, in Deanery Close.

Dorrie said her secret to a long life is ‘straightforward living and moderation in all things’ and she had a great friend in ‘Mr Will Power’ who has helped her through any difficulties.

Her family said she is fun to be with and is a good listener, while her many friends, both old and new, bear testimony to her loyalty and joy in living.
