Chichester’s Kill The Bill protests: in pictures

Protestors took to the streets yesterday (May 1) to oppose the Police, Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill which, critics say, would restrict the public’s right to protest.

Protestors met at 12 0’clock in Priory Park and, despite wet and windy weather, proceeded to the town centre via North Street.

They then gathered around the market cross, made speeches, played music and led chants in opposition to the proposed bill. Read on for some of our best photos of the event.
