Police are appealing for witnesses after a dumper truck was stolen from a property near Petworth.

Between Saturday (April 24) and Monday, (April 26) officers received a report of a dumper truck being stolen from Lurgashall.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to come forward.

"It’s thought the theft happened between 10am on Saturday 24 April and 9am on Monday 26 April.

"Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone who saw what happened or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area around that time is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 285 of 26/04."
