Don McPhee, along with his daughter Abby and son Thomas, have come up with a novel idea to keep families smiling during these difficult times. The idea is for individuals and families to send videos of themselves dancing to the song of the week.

Last week the chosen song was Happy by Pharell Williams and the video had more than 1,000 views. This week’s song was Taylor Swift’s Shake it Off and has now been put on You Tube. In the video, Eastbourne mayor Stephen Wallis makes an appearance in this week’s video as he gives a positive message to Eastbourne.

Don, Abby and Thomas want more people to take part as the weeks go on.

Next week, the idea is changing slightly, and individuals will instead be asked to send in clips of themselves singing to an uplifting song.

If you would like to take part, you can either send a Facebook message to Don McPhee or email him at [email protected] to find out the song and more details.
