Pett Nats: Don’t forget also the meeting of Pett Nats on Friday September 19 at Pett Village Hall. The speaker will be Alan Kenworthy on The Wonders of Botany. The meeting starts at 7:30pm.

Church Services: on Sunday September 21 – Book of Common Prayer, Holy Communion, Kay Burnett, Pett Level at 8am; Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Village Choir: On Monday September 22 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: POPP on Tuesday September 23 will feature Annie Cryer with Tai Chi or Games. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Macmillan Coffee Morning: On Friday September 26 once again Pett Village Hall will host the Macmillan Coffee Morning. Starting at 9am and finishing at noon, there will be a cake stall, plant stall, bric-a-brac and tombola as well as a raffle. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available so do come and support this good cause!

Church Jumble Sale: Do you fancy having a clear out? Are there things cluttering up the place just looking for a new home? If that is the case, then you’re in luck, as on Saturday October 4 Friends of Pett Church will be holding a Jumble Sale from 1pm to 3pm in Pett Village Hall in aid of Church Funds. There will be the usual vast selection of books and masses of clothes and toys and, perhaps best of all, the bric-a-brac stall full of treasures. You can also buy raffle tickets and homemade cakes as well as preserves and sweets. And there will be refreshments.

Help on the stalls will be very welcome, as will cakes, preserves and raffle prizes. Donation of books, toys, clothes, bric-a-brac, etc. should be brought to the hall after 9am. Sadly electrical goods, furniture or very large items cannot be accepted due to the difficulty of disposing of unsold items.
