Petworth and Midhurst firefighters rescue man trapped in car

Firefighters from Midhurst, Petworth and Chichester freed a man who was trapped in his car after a crash on Station Road, Petworth.

The fire service was called to the scene by police at 6pm last night (July 26).

Only one car was involved in the crash and a spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said one man was taken to hospital following the incident.

Fire crews left the scene by 8.10pm.
