Lodsworth’s third country fayre around the churchyard of the beautiful ancient church displayed a mixture of local talent and produce.

People from across the area made their way along to the hugely popular event.

One of the popular attractions on the day were the alpacas.

Resident Caroline Neville said: “If anyone did not like alpaca before, now all ages want some for their gardens to protect their chicken from the foxes or just fondly stroke and hug.

“Redens prize winning alpaca charmed.

“Peter who makes rustic garden furniture brought along week old chicks and the children were thrilled.

“Stan once again was popular with his hand crafted walking sticks made from branches in the woods.

“Chocolatier Mike gave tasters of his scrumptious coconut chocolate and another made with Langhams beer while others stood by savouring a glass of the popular local brew and eating Valerianas amazing foccaccio bread and pizza made in Langhams yard.

“Inside the church Mick was demonstrating and teaching the old craft of corn dolly making. Mike travels all over America to visit red Indian tribes, learning the meaning and method of their designs.”

Visitors were also treated to jazz and country music and homemade food cooked by villagers.
