COFFEE MORNING: The coffee morning tomorrow, Saturday, in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre, is hosted by Polegate Drama Group. All welcome from 10am to noon.

Meet at Willingdon Church bus stop 9.45am bus 1, 9.32am Terminus Road stand K to to Willingdon Church. 9.45am, Cars Park in Chalk Farm area, we will walk that way. Bring drink, leader at start. Or, Up Hill and Down Bottom. 5 miles with Diana G. Meet at East Dean bus shelter 10am. Bus 12, 9.03am Terminus Road Stand J. On Sunday, Two Deans, 8.5 miles with John and Marion. Meet at East Dean car park 10am GR 557977 bus 12A, 9.46am to East Dean car park where walk starts.

CLEAN UP POLEGATE: Will take place on Saturday afternoon, March 4. Volunteers and councillors will be picking up litter in targeted areas of the town. Full details on how to volunteer are available from the Town Council offices.

ROYAL BRITISH LEGION: The social club in Victoria Road have some live entertainment on Saturday March 4. You do not have to be a member of the armed forces to join. Visitors welcome. We are open from 11am to 11pm.

POLEGATE WINDMILL: The windmill celebrates its bi-centenary on Saturday September 16. The committee is planning an event to mark this occasion and would very much like to hear from anyone who would like to take on the role of secretary working with the committee to make the arrangements for this event and the ongoing running of the windmill.
