Police witness appeal over incident in Butlin's car park

Witnesses are being asked to come forward by police after they received reports a woman had been intimidated while sat in the car park at Butlins, Bognor Regis.

In a statement a spokesman said: “The 18-year-old woman and her friend were parked in the public car park at Butlins at about 9pm on Tuesday (March 21).

“They saw a man run past the car, he then turned back and banged on the car.

“The woman drove her car towards the exit and saw another man get out of another car. She was able to drive away.

“She describes the car as a small red car and the first man as white, in his 40s wearing a baseball cap and hooded top.

“The second man is described as Asian, also in his 40s with a dark beard.”

Officers are investigating and anyone who saw anything is asked to contact police on 1441 of 21/3.
