Minute's silence for death of former Chichester mayor
District councillors have held a minute’s silence in memory of a former mayor of Chichester.
Heads were bowed during a meeting of the full council on Tuesday (November 28) after it was announced that Alan Chaplin had died.
Mr Chaplin served as a Liberal Democrat councillor for Chichester South until 2015.
He was also a member of the City Council and was named mayor in 2013.
