Detailed plans for 300 Pagham homes submitted

Detailed plans for a large housing development on the edge of Pagham have been submitted to Arun District Council.

Developers already have outline planning permission for 300 homes off Hook Lane and Hallam Land Management has now lodged reserved matters plans with the council.

Permission was originally refused by the council, but with the prospect of losing a planning appeal, the council approved a subsequent identical application in 2019.

Developers are also building 400 homes south of Summer Lane and 280 dwellings north of Sefter Road.

A total of 30 per cent of the Hook Lane development would be affordable housing.

The application site excludes land in the southern corner earmarked for a care home.
