Major development up for approval today

Ninety-seven new homes will be built near Pulborough, if a planning application is approved today.

The plans include 54 homes to be sold at market prices, and 43 affordable homes.

The site, off Stane Street, Codmore Hill, is on a plot of land which already has planning permission for 103 homes.

Access to both sites would be through a junction with the A29.

Horsham District Council’s Development Control (South) committee is due to discuss the planning application this afternoon.

Council officers have recommended it for approval, subject to conditions and a legal agreement with the developers.
