Or if you don’t think it’s a good place to live tell us why?

Coming sixth on its Best Place to Live 2017 list, the Sunday Times states: “Chichester has more to offer than chain stores, antiques shops, attractive houses and a smug middle-class vibe.

“Squashed between the sea and the South Downs, it offers access to a wealth of healthy outdoor activities, both wet and dry.

“There’s mountain biking, hiking and sailing (Bosham is the hot yacht spot), as well as high-speed fun at Goodwood — a fertile source of holiday jobs for teenagers at the town’s two outstanding secondaries.”

It also names Chichester Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery and The Novium as some of the city’s best attractions.
