Public meeting to discuss village events

A public meeting will be held in Pulborough to discuss and prioritise future events to held in the village.

The Pulborough Community Partnership will be hosting a meeting in the Village Hall on Wednesday October 19 at 7pm.

Chairman Roger Paterson said: “The village has annual events such as the highly-successful Harvest Fair held last month and will be hosting the Italian supercars as part of Horsham District Council’s Piazza Italia.

“There are less showy activities such as the weekly Hub meetings in the library plus the monthly Local Action Team dealing with social issues.”

In the survery for the Neighbourhood Plan, various other ideas were put forward including a neighbourhood network to encourage neighbourhood watch, imrpoving and adding footpaths, as well as restarting the famous old Pulborough Duck Race.

These, and other ideas, will be up for discussion and Pulborough residents are urged to attend and bring their ideas and thoughts with them.
