READERS' GALLERY: S'now joke, winter returns

There were big smiles and rosy cheeks on Sunday as people of all ages had fun in the snow.

Across the district scarves, hats and gloves were donned for many to enjoy the Christmassy scenes which sadly lasted for just a day.

Many families made their way to The Trundle for some toboganning while others enjoyed pleasant walks in the snow.

For many wide-eyed children it was the first time they had ever seen the white stuff and they gleefully took part in good-natured snowball fights and helped build snowmen in their gardens and at the park.
