Residents to have their say on crime

Lewes District Council and Sussex Police are inviting residents of the Ashington Gardens area in Peacehaven to a 'Street Consultation' session on Thursday, March 8,from 6pm until 7pm.

The meeting will be held outside a police van which will be parked outside the parade of shops at Ashington Gardens.

The event will provide an opportunity for people living locally to influence what happens in their area.

Residents are invited to come along and express their views about crime and anti-social behaviour in the neighbourhood.

They can also find out how they can help making it safer.

Representatives from Lewes District Council and Sussex Police will be on hand to explain the work the police and the local action team are involved in, including youth activities and community development.
