Robertsbridge Community College: there is an exciting opportunity for someone to be co-opted onto the Governing Body at the College. They are an enthusiastic team of people who enjoy working together to ensure good quality teaching and provision for the benefit of all pupils of the College. By working closely with the Head teacher and senior leadership team their aim is to continue to push RCC to become a truly `Outstanding College`. They need someone who is forward thinking and will support them in keeping abreast of current trends in governance and education, as well as showing a commitment to supporting the College development in the future. The role is a strategic one and the Governing body forms an important part of the overall College leadership. They are looking to appoint someone to add to the existing skills-set, in particular, they seek someone with a legal background. But the overriding factors are that you are keen to give your time, are committed to the College and to raising standards and will contribute to a number of different areas of the College Community. If you feel you may be interested please contact the Chair of Governors, via the College for an informal discussion.
