Sales up on charityChristmas cards
A charity Christmas card shop which operated at Rye Community Centre in December saw takings exceeding those of the previous three years by 24 percent.
Jane Nunn, who managed the shop, says that more than 35 charities were represented and that four new volunteers were gained.
The top selling cards were those of the Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust and Rye Memorial Hospital.
