Sarah takes to the skies to raise money for the fight against SIDS

A BILLINGSHURST mum is taking part in a charity skydive to raise money in memory of her friend’s baby daughter.

Sarah Lovett is one of a group of mums taking part in the skydive near Oxford on July 20 to raise money for The Lullaby Trust, which carries out research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

And she is appealing for sponsorship to help her raise as much money as she can.

“Jennie Henley has been a good blogging friend of mine since I started and I’ve met up with her at several events over the years, as well as chatting to her online,” Sarah said.

“I was lucky enough to meet baby Matilda at a blogging conference last summer when she was just six weeks old and I enjoyed a lovely cuddle with her.

“She was a very happy and gorgeous baby girl.

“News of Matilda’s death left myself and many within the blogging community heartbroken and shattered.

“We have all rallied around her mum as best we can; being there when she needs us, fundraising in Matilda’s name, and attending her tragic funeral.

“I want to show my support for Jennie, to remember this beautiful little girl, and help stop SIDS from breaking any other family.”
