The Village Hall (Charitable Trust) provides a venue for regular groups and one off events. It is managed by volunteer trustees with the support of User Group Trustees. If your group regularly uses the hall then you are invited to have a representative for your group on the Trustee Committee. If you do not have a group rep or your current one wishes to step down then we hope that you will come along to the meeting and join us in the management and care of this very successful community building. There is a vacancy on the sub-committee as Isabel is stepping down as Secretary and hopes to stand as Vice-Chair. Would you or someone you know stand as Secretary for the Village Hall?

The role of Secretary involves attending and taking minutes for the Quarterly Meetings and 4-6 meeting of the sub-committee a year. Distributing the minutes, sending out agendas and reminders for the meetings. Registering trustees and keeping trustee details up to date. Correspondence for the committees and trustees is via email so a working knowledge of Word and emailing is needed but Isabel is happy to help for a smooth handover.
